73 lakh SIMs left Dhaka in 4 days before Eid celebration
On the occasion of Eid, more than 73 lakh active mobile SIMs have gone out of Dhaka. Of these, more than 43 lakh have gone in the last two days. And before that it was like 3 million.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mostafa Jabbar informed it in a Facebook post on Sunday (May 1) that “43 lakh 9 thousand mobile phone SIMs left Dhaka on April 29 and 30. In the previous two days, approximately 3 million SIMs have gone out of Dhaka. The information has been received from mobile operators.”
During these two days on 29th and 30th April, 18 lakh 62 thousand 136 SIMs of Grameenphone, 11 lakh 76 thousand 340 SIMs of Robi, 11 lakh 24 thousand 732 SIMs of Banglalink and 1 lakh 46 thousand 8 Teletalk SIMs went out of Dhaka.
